Daily Delight Devotional – Wednesday 31st May 2023

Keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.

– Proverbs 4:23, KJV

In pursuit of your purpose in life, you cannot have anything less than an excellent spirit. In life, some people have succeeded in fulfilling their purpose through toil and pain. Some have broken down all barriers to achieve the purpose. You must stay positive and tear your heart in prayer before you can triumph over the enemies of your purpose.

To tear your heart can be expressed as being determined to pour out and fulfil what consumes the strength of your heart. You are not pursuing something good and great until you enjoy peace always in your heart. When you get to the point where the only option you have is to succeed, you will be driven with the power to succeed and nothing can hold you back.

David ran after his enemies, he overtook them and recovered all. Your purpose is your conviction and direction. It is the reason for your living. You must pursue your purpose aggressively. Your purpose determines your personality. Never lack complete confidence in your ability to perform. A man without purpose lacks power. Position yourself in a way to fulfil God’s purpose for your life.

Insight: Discover your purpose and rise to a level of discipline, determination, confidence, sobriety and focus by which you will be able to achieve your purpose in life.

Prayer: Father, let the power of meaningless life disappear and a life of purpose appear to fulfil my destiny in the name of Jesus.
