But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes, we are healed.
– Isaiah 53:5, KJV
At the cross of Calvary, there was an exchange and subsequent release: Jesus took your place and died in your stead. He exchanged your poverty for His riches, your shame for His glory and your captivity for His freedom. Provision has been made for your release from fear, sin, poverty and failure. As long as you are a child of God, He has ordained your release from the captivity of the devil. Whatever holds you captive, God is prepared to destroy. You must give yourself to Him for your release from any form of captivity.
Insight: In the same vein, the enemy, like a roaring lion, daily walks to and fro looking for Christians he can devour. When confronted with the blood, he must flee and you will be released.
Prayer: Father, engrace me with supernatural power to defeat every attacker in the name of Jesus.
