Speak Your Vision – #WordForTheWeek

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace.

– Acts 18:9

Rely on God’s presence as you strive toward His vision. The Lord told Paul, “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you … .” In challenging times, God’s promise to be with us is a source of comfort. Know that an untapped, unlimited treasure of dreams, visions, and inspired ideas is within your spirit.

God spoke to Paul through a vision because his spirit was open to God in the realm of the spirit. Speaking your dream or vision, even to yourself, will help you believe it and fulfil it. A vision gives people a bigger picture of what things can be like, raising hopes and expectations, and inspiring action.

Have a bold vision. Define it. Declare it. Be willing to die for it, or at least live for it. Don’t stop moving toward the vision. Like Joseph, keep moving day by day, building a life of trusting God and fulfilling His purposes. As you go about your life, think about ways things could be better. Combine the pieces to form your overall vision.

If your vision resonates with many and is communicated effectively, people will join you in reaching your goals. Dare to dream big, allowing for scalability based on realities. Thinking big forces you to consider the long term.

Everyone has a personal vision for their future. Speak the Word of God along with your vision to fulfil destiny. Get a vision, speak it, live it. May the Lord help you envision your future in the name of Jesus.
