Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.

– Psalm 119:9, KJV

God expects you to act like a young person to understand the Word of God which helps you cleanse your ways. Spiritual cleansing can only happen when you are sanctified by heeding the Word of God. To be a good Christian, God expects you to have a protective covering around you. He expects you to surround yourself with the Word of God. The question you should ask yourself is, how can you surround yourself with the Word of God? Read the Bible regularly.

God has a way of giving you exactly what you need on the day you need it. Sometimes, God can minister to you in the Bible if you have been encountering one problem or temptation. He can minister to you in the exact verse of the scripture you need.

When Jesus overcame temptation, he quoted Scripture. You must memorize and meditate the scripture because it will greatly enhance your concentration. As you quote what you read, you keep your heart clean because you will need the oil of the Holy Spirit in your life.

You can’t have the Holy Spirit living in your heart and practice sin. Are you willing to be a young person who is committed to Christ?

Insight: When you get busy with God, you will be pure and sin will keep off from your life.

Prayer: Father, engrace me with supernatural strength to get younger and younger in the Lord to manifest God’s glory in the name of Jesus
