Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.

1 John 4:7 (NIV)

Love comes from God. We cannot produce true love by our own strength. If we want to grow in love, we must stay connected to God, who is the source of love.

We know God by spending time with Him. When we read His Word and pray, His love fills our hearts. As we grow in understanding His Word, our hearts begin to change. His love begins to shape our thoughts and actions.

Today, stay rooted in God. Do not allow busyness to take you away from Him. The more you know God, the more His love will flow through your life.

Insight: Intimacy with God grows love.

Prayer: Father, help me stay rooted in You.
