Daily Delight Devotional – Sunday, March 24, 2024

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jesus stepped into His purpose to fulfil God’s plan for salvation. Stepping into purpose takes courage and confidence in who God has said you will become. Like Jesus, we are called to discover and fulfil God’s plan for our lives with a realization that each of us has a unique role to play in God’s divine design.

Discovering our purpose begins with seeking God’s guidance through prayer and meditation on His Word. As we draw near Him, God reveals His plans for us, illuminating the path we are called to walk. It requires faith to step out in obedience, trusting that God’s plan is far greater than our understanding.

Jesus exemplified perfect obedience to the Father’s will, even in the face of immense suffering. His sacrificial love paved the way for our redemption, demonstrating the power of living in alignment with God’s purpose.

Insight: Discovering and stepping into our purpose requires seeking God’s guidance through prayer and meditation on His Word.

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for the purpose You have ordained for my life. Help me to seek Your guidance and step out in faith to fulfil Your plan, trusting in Your goodness and provision every step of the way. Amen.
