Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him and bless His name.

– Psalm 100:4

Thanksgiving is the key that opens God’s door. When we thank God, we invite His presence to come close. Every time we give thanks, we show that we trust Him and believe He is good.

In the Bible, the people of Israel entered the temple by giving thanks and singing praises. It was their way of saying, “God, we love You and depend on You.” When our hearts are full of thanks, God draws near to us.

Today, make it your habit to start and end the day with thanksgiving. Thank God for life, family, and every small thing. A thankful heart is the first step to living as God’s evidence.

Insight: Gratitude brings us into God’s presence.
