And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Numbers 13:33

The “grasshopper” mentality prevented many Israelites from entering their inheritance. Instead of believing God’s Word and stepping out in faith to possess the land, they saw themselves as grasshoppers, perishing in their unbelief. How you see yourself is how you appear before the enemy. Those with a grasshopper mentality faced God’s judgment for their unbelief. Caleb and Joshua, however, had a different spirit—they were bold, confident giant killers. Change your thinking to align with the Word of God, renew your mind, and see yourself as a giant killer, empowered by faith to overcome.

Insight: Change your thinking about yourself and transform your language about yourself.

Prayer: Father, make me a giant killer and change my negative mentality in the name of Jesus.
