Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, July 7 2025

Being confident of this very thing, that He which began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

– Philippians 1:6

God always finishes what He starts. He does not abandon people or leave their lives halfway. From the first chapter of the Bible, we see that God completed the work of creation. In John 19:30, Jesus declared, “It is finished,” when He completed the work of salvation on the cross. These are clear proofs that God is a Finisher.

Sometimes, when life becomes difficult, we may feel forgotten or stuck. But God is always working in our lives, even when we do not see it. The fact that something has not yet happened does not mean God has stopped working. We must trust that God sees the full picture and knows how to take us from the promise to the result.

This month is the seventh month, and in the Bible, the number seven stands for perfection and completion. That means this is a good time to believe that God will complete what He started in your life. Even if the process is slow or tough, keep walking with Him. He never fails.

Insight: If God started something good in your life, He will finish it.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for starting good things in my life. Please help me trust You to finish them. Strengthen my faith to keep walking with You.
