He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

– Psalm 147:3, NLT

The antidote for disappointment, depression, pain and many other emotional challenges is love. Love that is rooted in the essence of God’s unfailing love has the transformative power to mend shattered hearts and restore individuals to wholeness. Like a soothing balm, it is assured to bring comfort and restoration.

The key to the success of Jesus’ ministry on Earth is because it was founded in God’s love. John 3:16 confirms that while Jesus in his statement of purpose in Luke chapter 4, affirms this. And this is because scars fade and brokenness gives way to healing when love is present.

Jesus has given us this same ministry. We need to carry His essence that brings solace to the weary and breathes life into desolate places wherever we are. God’s grace has the power to heal the deepest of wounds and restore the broken to a place of wholeness. As you accept the unconditional love of God, take it with you as well everywhere you go.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your healing love. Pour out Your love upon us, healing our broken hearts and restoring us to wholeness.
