Daily Delight Devotional – Sunday, August 6 2023

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

– I Peter 1:19, KJV

The Blood is for honour, the benefit of the blood receives honour in the eyes of the Lord and therefore, honour in the eyes of men. He whom the Lord honours, no man can despise. When the blood of Jesus is upon you, you will no longer be in a fallen state. When the eyes of the Lord look on you, He sees the reconciliatory blood of His beloved Son and He loves you. When the blood is upon you, the glory of the Son will be seen all over you. Grace and mercy will be your portion. The Blood sets apart. Where men dare not enter, the Blood will see you in. It is the seal of the covenant. Under the blood, the covenant of life, wealth, honour and glory are all activated. The blood of Jesus marks the beginning of restoration. When it is upon you, shame is terminated. Reproach becomes a thing of the past. Captivity comes to an end and liberty is released.

Insight: The Blood of Jesus is a way maker. It is a king-maker. It is a lifter. It is the difference between mere men and sons.

Prayer: Father, let your Blood continue to flow in my life for honour and glory in the name of Jesus.
