Daily Delight Devotional – Thursday, August 3 2023

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he comes.

– 1 Corinthians 11:26, KJV

The Lord died in your place. On the cross of Calvary, He bore your sicknesses, pains, heartaches, and all other problems you would ever have to face. When you take the Blood of Jesus, you show the Lord’s death until He comes. It simply means that when you take it, you are saying in essence, “I receive the life that is in this Blood of Jesus who has died in my place and has taken away all my … (fill in the blank). As a result, they cannot worry me any more!”
Those who live weak, sickly and beggarly lives are those who have not yet discovered the mystery in the blood. Jesus commanded that His Blood is to be taken often.

Insight: When you begin to apply the Blood for your healing and comfort, you will begin to see the result manifest in terms of life and sound health.

Prayer: Father, open my eyes to see the mystery of communion in every area of my life in the name of Jesus.
