Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, October 27, 2025

You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.

– Acts 1:8

God gives His people power to show that He is real. The Holy Spirit gives us strength to live for Jesus and tell others about Him. This power helps us to live differently, to love others, and to overcome fear. The same power that worked in the apostles is still at work in believers today.

When the Holy Spirit came on the disciples, they became bold and full of joy. They prayed, preached, and served with courage. God used them to heal the sick and bring many people to faith. That same Spirit helps us to be strong, faithful, and full of love in everything we do.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with power. Let Him help you share your faith and do good works. You are not alone; the Spirit of God is your helper and your strength.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, fill me with Your power so I can show the world who You are.
