The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

– Exodus 14:14, KJV

This passage shows that human beings need divine help. There was a sudden change which was capable of bringing fear into the hearts of the children of Israel. However, God intervened through their obedience and a shift in the positioning of holding on without fear. The good news is that there is hope for the hopeless, help for the helpless, power for those who are fainting, strength for those who are weary and divine help when all forms of help are nowhere in sight.

God is the God of wonders. He can turn impossible situations around. He can rewrite your history, bring cheer into despondency and a divine change into a situation that is completely hopeless. Whatever you are going through, you must keep holding on and take cognizance of the fact that nothing is hidden from God. He knows what is happening to you even before you experience it.

Job went through trials but in the end, he became victorious. Job’s example remains a challenge to all men in all generations. The man who holds on is the man who wins, while the man who gives up becomes a loser.

Insight: If you do not know how to handle conflicting situations, you will be reduced to being a nonentity. Therefore, God allows the winds of adversity to blow against your life to make you strong.

Prayer: Father, I receive the power of holding on to victory and success in destiny in the name of Jesus.
