A constant dripping on a rainy day and a quarrelsome wife are alike — a leaky roof that drives you out or a nagging spouse.

In this year of Exponential Increase, our habits play subtle but powerful notes that shape our daily melody. Proverbs 27:15 likens the persistent dripping of water to the nagging effects of a quarrelsome person. Similarly, small habits, when consistently practised, create a steady rhythm that can lead to remarkable and compounding positive effects.

Consider the water drip analogy: a single drop may seem inconsequential, but over time, it can carve a path through the toughest stone. Similarly, cultivating tiny habits may appear modest, yet their cumulative impact can be transformative.

As we embark on this week, let’s reflect on the tiny habits that can lead to big rewards. The consistency of these habits, like the persistent drip, shapes our character, influences our relationships, and moulds our destiny.

Commit to the daily reading of the scripture, waking up early, making your bed as you get up from it, taking time to read a chapter in a book, dedicating one hour to studying an online course, offering help to someone in need and many more.

As this week starts, commit to embracing tiny habits with intentionality. Just as a single drop of water, when consistent, shapes the rock, your small, consistent habits can carve a path to success.
