I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.

– Ephesians 4:1, NKJV

Understanding your calling is foundational to building capacity for exponential growth. God designed each person with a purpose in mind. Understanding your assignment is essential to your growth. You cannot grow if you don’t know who you are. The Apostle Paul through today’s text urges us to walk worthy of our calling, recognizing that each person has a unique purpose designed by God.

You can begin by seeking God’s direction through prayer and reflection. Ask Him to reveal your strengths, passions, and the specific path He has prepared for you. Then, you need to take time to evaluate your skills, talents, and interests. Understanding your gifts can provide insight into areas where you can serve and excel.

Ensure that your professional pursuits align with biblical principles and God’s will for your life. Your calling should not only fulfill personal ambitions but also contribute to God’s kingdom. Commit to developing your skills and knowledge in your chosen field. We will talk more about this in the next devotional.
