Unleashing Innovation Habits – #DailyDelightDevotional

Daily Delight Devotional – Tuesday, January 16, 2024

Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.

– Exodus 31:1-3, NIV

God is the author of innovation. As believers, we are called to be pioneers, tapping into creativity for God’s divine purpose.

God, the ultimate Creator, instilled Bezalel with skills that went beyond the conventional. I am certain Bezaleel didn’t just wake up with those skills. It stems from intentionally growing those skills. Similarly, believers are called to adopt innovation habits that push them to think beyond the ordinary.

Embrace routines that foster creativity. Set aside time for reflection, encourage diverse perspectives, and be open to new ideas. Be versatile. Just as Bezalel worked with various materials, believers are called to be versatile, applying creativity in every area of life—whether it’s at work, home, or in service to others.

One key takeaway is to ask God to fill you with His Spirit, wisdom, and understanding, just as He did with Bezalel. Be open to His Spirit to receive creativity to flow in your daily pursuits, envisioning new solutions and embracing innovative practices that align with God’s purpose.

Insight: Innovation habits cultivate creativity, enabling believers to bring glory to God through unconventional and purposeful actions.

Prayer: Lord, fill me with Your Spirit, wisdom, and understanding. May the innovative habits I cultivate bring glory to Your name in every aspect of my life. Amen.
