Daily Delight Devotional – Wednesday, June 11, 2025

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

– Galatians 4:7

As sons of God, we are not meant to live like beggars. We have an inheritance. This inheritance includes peace, power, purpose, and eternal life. But many Christians live far below their inheritance because they do not walk in maturity.

A servant has no right to the father’s property. But a son does. That’s why God wants us to stop living like slaves to fear, sin, or emotions. He wants us to take our place as sons who know what they carry and who they represent.

When you walk in maturity, you begin to receive what is rightfully yours. You enjoy your relationship with God more deeply. You start to make decisions that honour Him. And you step into the authority that He has given you in Christ.

Insight: You are not just saved—you are a son. Maturity opens the door to your inheritance.

Prayer: Father, thank You for making me Your child. Help me to grow so I can enjoy everything You have prepared for me. I choose to live as a mature son, not a servant. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
