And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

– Ephesians 6:4

Fathers have the powerful role of shaping the lives of their children. God expects fathers to be present, patient, and prayerful. Children look up to their father as an example of strength, love, and wisdom.

A godly father provides not only food and shelter but also love, attention, and direction. He teaches his children the ways of God and helps them grow in both faith and character.

A father’s words, actions, and time will either build or break his child. That is why God calls fathers to train their children in the Lord and to avoid harshness that causes pain.

Insight: Every child is a gift. Fathers are called to guide that gift with love and wisdom.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gift of fatherhood. Help me to raise my children in Your truth and love. Let my life be a godly example to them. Amen.
