Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, June 1, 2026

These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children.

— Deuteronomy 6:6–7

A blessed generation does not happen by accident. Every family, church, and leader is passing something to the next generation. We are transferring values, habits, beliefs, attitudes, and character whether we realise it or not.

Many people focus on building wealth, acquiring property, and achieving success. While these things are important, God’s greatest concern is the spiritual condition of the next generation. God desires that faith will continue from one generation to another.

The future of a family is shaped by what is intentionally taught today. If children are not taught God’s ways, the world will gladly teach them its own values. This is why God instructed His people to teach His Word diligently and consistently.

Today, make a decision to become intentional about passing godly values to those around you.

Insight: A blessed generation is built intentionally, not accidentally.

Prayer: Father, help me intentionally build a generation that knows and follows You.
