Daily Delight Devotional – Tuesday, July 8 2025

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.

– Jeremiah 29:11

You are not an accident. God made you for a reason. Your life is a project that He planned even before you were born. God has a blueprint for your life, and everything He allows you to go through is part of His design to take you to your future.

Even when it feels like life is not going well, God is still working. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that there is a time for everything. Romans 8:28 also says that all things work together for the good of those who love God. That means the delay, pain, or struggle you may face will still turn out for your good if you stay with God.

You must learn to trust God’s timing. He knows when you are ready for what He has promised. Some promises require growth and maturity. Keep your eyes on His plans, not your feelings.

Insight: God knows the best time to bring His promises to pass in your life.

Prayer: Father, I believe You are working in my life even when I do not see it. Help me to trust Your timing and stay faithful through the process.
