Then the Lord said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ ‘A staff’, he replied

– Exodus 4:2

God has already placed something valuable in your hand. For Moses, it was a rod. For David, it was a sling. For the widow, it was a jar of oil. For the young boy, it was five loaves and two fish. None of these looked powerful on their own, but when used with faith, they brought about great results.

Many times, we wait for something big to happen before we act, but God is asking you to start with what you already have. It may be a skill, an idea, a gift, or even a small opportunity. What you have may look small, but it is the seed for something greater. Do not despise it. God always starts with what is in your hand.

Your miracle is not in what you are waiting for; it is in what you are already holding. The question is, will you use it?

Insight: The solution to your need is often already in your hand.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see the gifts, skills, and opportunities You have already given me. Help me to use them faithfully. Amen.
