If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

— 2 Corinthians 5:17

When a person receives Christ, their identity changes completely. They are no longer defined by their past mistakes, failures, or sins.

The resurrection of Jesus gives believers a new identity. The old life has passed away, and a new life has begun. You are no longer a prisoner of your past. You are a new creation in Christ.

Satan may try to remind you of your past, but God sees you through the finished work of Christ. Grace has rewritten your story.

Today, choose to see yourself the way God sees you.

Insight: Grace gives you a new identity in Christ.

Prayer: Lord, help me embrace the new identity You have given me through Christ.
