“Do not despise these small beginnings.”
Zechariah 4:10 —
The widow in Elisha’s day believed she had nothing until she remembered the small jar of oil in her house. What seemed insignificant became the beginning of supernatural provision because she surrendered it to God.
Many people overlook the very resources God has already placed in their hands. A skill, an idea, a relationship, a business opportunity, or even a small income can become the seed for something much greater when placed under God’s direction.
God often begins with what seems small because He wants us to learn faithful stewardship. Every large business once started small. Every successful investment began with a first step. Every harvest began with a single seed.
Instead of complaining about what you do not have, thank God for what you already possess. Ask Him to show you how to develop it wisely and faithfully.
Today, appreciate every opportunity God has already given you.
Insight: God often multiplies what we faithfully steward.
Prayer: Lord, help me recognise the opportunities You have already placed in my hands and give me wisdom to develop them faithfully.
