“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.”
Nehemiah 6:3 —
Nehemiah’s rebuilding work was not easy. He faced criticism, threats, discouragement, distractions, and opposition. Yet he refused to stop.
Every important rebuilding process will have difficult moments.
You may experience delays. People may criticize your decisions. Progress may seem slow. You may become tired or discouraged. Unexpected problems may appear.
Do not interpret opposition as proof that you should quit.
Nehemiah kept praying while he kept working. He stayed focused on God’s assignment and refused to allow distractions to pull him away.
You must do the same.
When you feel discouraged, remind yourself why you started. When people criticize you, remain focused on God’s instruction. When progress is slow, continue taking faithful steps.
Do not abandon something valuable because of temporary resistance. The rebuilding may be difficult, but God is producing patience, strength, wisdom, and character within you.
Keep building. Your present resistance will not cancel God’s purpose.
Insight: Opposition does not mean you should stop; sometimes it means you must remain focused.
Prayer: Father, strengthen me when rebuilding becomes difficult. Help me resist distractions, overcome discouragement, and remain faithful to Your assignment.
