“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.”
Psalm 127:1 —
Rebuilding requires effort, but human effort alone is not enough.
We can have intelligence, experience, money, connections, and excellent plans, yet still need God’s help. Nehemiah understood this. He planned carefully and worked diligently, but he also covered every major step with prayer.
God must remain the Master Builder of your life.
As you rebuild, ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and direction. Before making major decisions, pray. When you do not know what to do, pray. When progress seems slow, continue trusting God.
Depending on God does not mean doing nothing. Nehemiah prayed and worked. We must do the same.
There will be things beyond your ability to control. Instead of becoming anxious, place them in God’s hands. Do your part faithfully and trust Him with what you cannot do.
What God begins, He also gives grace to finish.
Insight: We build faithfully, but God remains the Master Builder.
Prayer: Father, I refuse to depend on my strength alone. Lead me by Your Spirit, give me wisdom, and establish everything I build according to Your purpose.
