“He who walks with wise men will be wise.”
Proverbs 13:20 —
God begins our destiny with Him, but He often uses people to help us fulfil it.
Nobody fulfils a significant assignment completely alone. Along the way, God may bring mentors, spiritual leaders, friends, spouses, teammates, partners, and destiny helpers into our lives.
The right relationships can bring wisdom, encouragement, protection, opportunities, and support. That is why you must be intentional about the people you allow close to you.
At the same time, learn to honour the people God has placed in your life. Honour does not mean agreeing with everything a person does. It means recognizing and respecting the role God has given them.
Moses had Aaron, Joshua, Bezalel, Aholiab, and Hur. Paul had Barnabas, Titus, and Timothy. God used relationships to strengthen their assignments.
Some blessings arrive through people God has assigned to your journey.
Ask God for wisdom to recognize the right relationships and grace to become the right person for others.
Insight: The relationships you build can either strengthen your journey or distract you from it.
Prayer: Father, give me wisdom to recognize the people You have placed in my life. Help me to honour godly relationships and become a blessing to the people You have assigned to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
