“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
John 15:8 —
A healthy tree does not need to announce that it is growing. Its fruit provides the evidence.
The same principle applies to our Christian lives.
We do not have to keep telling people how spiritual we are. Our character and actions should reveal the work of God within us.
Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
These qualities should be visible in our everyday relationships.
How do you respond when someone offends you? How do you treat people who cannot help you? Are you honest when nobody is watching? Can people trust your words?
These everyday situations reveal how much we are allowing God to transform us.
It is not enough to know what the Bible says. We must allow God’s Word to influence how we live.
Let your family experience your love. Let your colleagues experience your honesty. Let your neighbours experience your kindness.
Your life should provide visible evidence of the Christ you profess.
Insight: Spiritual maturity becomes visible through the fruit we produce in our daily lives.
Prayer: Father, let my life produce fruit that glorifies You. Help me grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, and self-control. May my character reflect Christ wherever I go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
