“Jesus said, Take ye away the stone.”
John 11:39 —
Before Lazarus came out of the tomb, Jesus gave an important instruction: “Take away the stone.”
The stone stood between Lazarus and the place where he was about to emerge. Although Jesus had the power to raise him, He instructed the people to remove what was blocking the entrance.
Sometimes, what prevents us from moving forward is not the absence of God’s promises but the limitations we have allowed to remain in our lives.
Unbelief, fear, regret, disappointment, and negative thinking can become barriers to our progress.
Perhaps you have stopped believing in yourself because of past failures. Maybe you have allowed disappointment to convince you that nothing good can happen again.
But God is calling you to arise.
Identify what has been holding you back. Bring it before God in prayer. Renew your mind with His Word and begin taking steps of faith.
Do not allow yesterday’s experiences to determine tomorrow’s possibilities.
The stone must be removed because your destiny was never meant to remain hidden.
This is your season to arise, come forth, and advance.
Insight: You cannot fully embrace God’s purpose while holding on to the fears and limitations keeping you down.
Prayer: Father, remove every barrier standing against my progress. Deliver me from unbelief, fear, regret, and every limitation holding me back. Give me faith and courage to arise and fulfil Your purpose for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
