“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”
Luke 16:10 –
Many people ask God for more while neglecting what they already have. Yet throughout Scripture, God consistently entrusts greater responsibility to those who faithfully manage smaller responsibilities. Before He increases your resources, He develops your character.
Faithfulness is demonstrated in everyday decisions. It is seen in paying your obligations honestly, managing your income carefully, avoiding waste, honouring God with your giving, and using your resources wisely. These small acts of obedience may seem insignificant, but they prepare you for greater opportunities.
Jesus taught that faithfulness with little reveals whether a person can be trusted with much. God is not testing your ability to become wealthy; He is testing your willingness to become a faithful steward.
Never underestimate the value of consistency. Small faithful decisions repeated over time produce remarkable results. Every wise choice you make today becomes part of the foundation God can build upon tomorrow.
Instead of comparing your journey with someone else’s, focus on being faithful with what God has already entrusted to you. As you prove yourself trustworthy, He will continue to expand your capacity and increase your influence.
Insight: God rewards faithful stewardship before He releases greater resources.
Prayer: Lord, help me remain faithful in every area of my financial life. Teach me to manage little well so that I may be prepared for greater responsibility.
