“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 —
Not every difficult experience is good, but God is able to bring something good out of what we go through.
Joseph experienced betrayal from his brothers, slavery, false accusations, and imprisonment.
At different points in his life, it appeared that his dreams would never become reality.
But God was still working.
Years later, Joseph became a leader in Egypt and was able to save many lives during a time of famine.
What others intended for evil, God turned around for good.
Perhaps you are going through a season you do not understand. You may have experienced rejection, disappointment, delay, or an unexpected setback.
Do not conclude that God has abandoned you.
Continue trusting Him. Remain faithful in your responsibilities and ask Him for wisdom to learn and grow through the experience.
Your difficult season may become part of the testimony that encourages someone else tomorrow.
Remember the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace. God was with them in the middle of the fire.
Your present battle can become an opportunity for God’s faithfulness and power to be revealed.
Insight: God is able to bring good out of difficult experiences and use them for His purpose.
Prayer: Father, thank You because You are working even when I cannot see the outcome. Turn every difficult situation in my life toward Your purpose. Give me strength to remain faithful and let my testimony bring glory to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
