“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 —
Your heart matters because what fills your heart eventually influences your decisions, relationships, faith, and direction.
Negative thoughts can slowly weaken your confidence in God. Bitterness can change how you see people. Fear can make you avoid opportunities. Discouragement can make you stop pursuing what God has placed before you.
That is why the Bible tells us to guard our hearts.
You cannot control everything people say or everything that happens around you, but you can decide what you allow to remain inside you.
Do not keep feeding your heart with fear, comparison, bitterness, and hopelessness. Fill it with God’s Word. Remind yourself of His promises. Stay close to people who strengthen your faith.
Your destiny requires a healthy heart.
Guard what God has placed inside you.
Insight: What you allow into your heart can influence the direction of your life.
Prayer: Father, help me guard my heart from fear, bitterness, negative thoughts, and unbelief. Fill me with Your Word and give me a heart that remains strong in faith.
