“The dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.”
John 5:25 —
There is power in the Word of God.
When Jesus stood before the tomb of Lazarus, He called out, “Lazarus, come forth.” What appeared completely finished responded to His command.
The condition of Lazarus did not stop the power of Jesus’ Word.
In the same way, God’s Word has the power to awaken faith, restore hope, and give direction to our lives.
Many voices compete for our attention every day. Some remind us of our failures. Others speak fear, discouragement, or doubt.
But we must learn to give God’s Word greater authority than our circumstances.
What has God said concerning your life? Are you allowing His Word to guide your decisions, or are you allowing fear and people’s opinions to determine your actions?
Spend time studying the Scriptures. Pray for understanding. Hold on to God’s promises and obey His instructions.
Do not merely hear the Word. Allow it to influence the way you live.
When God calls you to arise, do not allow your present condition to silence your faith.
Hear His Word, believe it, and respond with obedience.
Insight: God’s Word has the power to awaken faith and give direction to every area of your life.
Prayer: Father, open my ears to hear Your voice and my heart to receive Your Word. Help me overcome every voice of fear and discouragement. Give me grace to obey Your instructions and advance in my destiny. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
