Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, September 21, 2026
“He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit.”
John 15:5 —
Destiny begins with God, and fulfilling it requires us to remain close to Him.
Jesus said that we can do nothing apart from Him. This means that our gifts, intelligence, opportunities, and strength are not enough by themselves. We need God.
David’s public victories were connected to his private relationship with God. Jesus Himself often withdrew to quiet places to pray and spend time with the Father.
The farther God takes you, the deeper your roots in Him must become.
Do not become so busy pursuing your assignment that you lose your relationship with the One who gave you the assignment. Before seeking God’s hand for your destiny, seek His heart.
Make prayer, God’s Word, worship, and fellowship with Him part of your daily life. Your relationship with God is not something you do only when you have a problem. It is the foundation for everything He has called you to do.
Insight: You cannot successfully fulfil God’s assignment while remaining disconnected from God.
Prayer: Father, draw me closer to You. Help me value Your presence above everything else and give me grace to remain deeply connected to You in every season.
