Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

One thing we must understand is that one of the major weapons the enemy uses against God’s children is fear – fear over uncertainty, fear of the unknown – especially as the world over grapples with rising costs of living and economic recession amongst others.

In times of uncertainty, fear can grip our hearts, leading to anxiety and despair. However, as believers, we are called to trust the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding. Fear robs us of peace and joy, hindering our spiritual and physical well-being. But God assures us that He is with us, strengthening and upholding us with His righteous right hand.

To overcome fear, we must shift our focus from our circumstances to God’s promises. We are reminded that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. By meditating on His Word and praying fervently, we can experience His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Don’t let everything happening around you choke your fear. Feed on the word of God to grow your faith. Trust God because He cares for you and will sustain you no matter what.

Insight: Shift your focus from your circumstances to God’s promises. Then, you can overcome fear and experience God’s overwhelming peace amid uncertainties.

Prayer: Father, help me to overcome fear by trusting in Your promises and resting in Your presence.
