“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:4 —
Not every season of your life will attract attention or produce visible results.
There are times when God allows us to learn, grow, serve, and prepare without public recognition.
David was prepared in the wilderness before becoming king. Joseph experienced years of difficulty before becoming a leader. Moses spent time in Midian before leading Israel.
Their seasons of preparation were important to their assignments.
In the same way, God may be developing something valuable within you during this season.
He may be teaching you patience, discipline, humility, wisdom, or endurance. He may be helping you develop the capacity to handle greater responsibilities.
Do not despise the season you are in because people have not yet noticed your progress.
Continue learning. Develop your gifts. Strengthen your character. Serve faithfully, even when nobody is applauding you.
Preparation is not punishment, and being hidden does not mean you have been forgotten.
What God develops in private, He can reveal in public for His glory.
Insight: Your season of preparation may be developing the strength and character needed for greater manifestation.
Prayer: Father, help me value every season of preparation. Develop my character, wisdom, discipline, and endurance. Give me grace to remain faithful while You prepare me for greater responsibilities. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
