“You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.”
Genesis 50:20 —
Joseph experienced things that could have destroyed his confidence. His brothers rejected him, sold him, and separated him from his family. Later, he was falsely accused and sent to prison.
Yet Joseph’s story did not end with what happened to him.
Sometimes life gives us painful chapters. You may have experienced rejection, failure, betrayal, loss, or disappointment. But what happened to you does not have to determine what happens through you.
God can take painful experiences and use them to build wisdom, strength, compassion, and maturity. He can turn situations meant to break you into experiences that prepare you for greater purpose.
Do not allow one painful chapter to become the definition of your entire life.
The enemy may have meant it for evil, but God can still bring good from it.
Your story is still being written.
Insight: What happened to you may be part of your story, but it does not have the final word.
Prayer: Father, heal me from every painful experience that has tried to define my future. Turn my difficult seasons into testimonies and use my life for Your glory.
