“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7 —
A new season may bring responsibilities you have never carried before. That is why God does not only give opportunities; He gives empowerment.
Fresh oil brings strength when you are tired. It gives discernment when choices are difficult. It gives courage when fear tells you to stay where you are.
It also increases your capacity.
David did not become king immediately after he was anointed, but something changed inside him. The oil prepared him for battles, responsibilities, and opportunities that were still ahead.
Do not judge what God is doing only by what has changed around you. Sometimes His first work is inside you.
He may be strengthening your character before changing your position. He may be increasing your wisdom before increasing your influence.
Ask God today for fresh strength, discernment, courage, and capacity.
You do not have to enter your next season afraid. The Holy Spirit is available to empower you.
Insight: Fresh oil changes your capacity before it changes your position.
Prayer: Father, fill me afresh with Your Spirit. Give me strength for every responsibility, discernment for every decision, and courage for every step ahead.
