“To obey is better than sacrifice.”
1 Samuel 15:22 —
God does not always show us the whole journey. Sometimes He gives us one instruction at a time.
Destiny unfolds as we respond to what God tells us to do. Abraham did not receive the full picture before he began his journey. He had to trust God and obey each step.
Obedience is not only about doing what God says. It is also about loving what God loves and turning away from what He does not approve.
Sometimes the next instruction may seem small. It may be a decision to forgive, start something, stop something, change a relationship, prepare yourself, or take a step of faith.
Do not ignore small instructions because you are waiting for something bigger.
Your next instruction may be connected to your next level.
Ask God for the grace to obey quickly and willingly. Do not allow delay, fear, or excuses to keep you from doing what He has placed before you.
Insight: Destiny unfolds one step of obedience at a time.
Prayer: Father, give me a heart that loves Your instructions. Help me to obey You with joy, courage, and faith. Give me grace to recognize and respond to every instruction connected to my destiny. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
